Abstract:
The research problem focused on the main question that states: What is the
impact of total quality management on organizational empowerment from
the point of view of administrative leaders at Sana’a University? The aim of
the research is to identify the reality of total quality management and
organizational empowerment at Sana’a University, and then study the impact
of total quality management on organizational empowerment at Sana’a
University. The research adopted the descriptive analytical method, and the
researcher used the questionnaire to collect the primary data from the
respondents, and the research community reached (447), and the sample size
was (280) individuals, (265) questionnaires were recovered, with a percentage
of (95%), and (23) were excluded for the presence of defects The number of
the analyzeable questionnaire was (242).The research found that the total quality management policy prevails in the
university with an average of (2.62), a standard deviation (.756), i.e. an
ineffective degree, and that organizational empowerment in the university
prevails with an average of (2.92) and a standard deviation (.749), and that
there is a correlation (effect) Between the independent variable (total quality
management policies) with the dependent variable (organizational
empowerment). The researcher recommended to benefit from the
experiences and expertise of universities that have implemented
comprehensive quality programs, in order to reach the quality of
performance, and then the quality of outputs, and work to spread the culture
of quality and job empowerment at the university, by involving employees in
decision-making and confidence in their abilities, and giving them appropriate
administrative powers and responsibilities. Encouraging them to take
initiative and take on the tasks assigned to them.
