Authors are the one who express their research outcome to the world in the
form of an article. Scientific research involves going beyond the well-trodden
and well-tested ideas and theories that form the core of scientific knowledge.
Hence, Yemen University Journal requests the authors to meet the below
requirements.
- Plagiarism is a common and often misunderstood problem that is often the
result of a lack of knowledge and skills. It is the wrongful appropriation,
stealing and publication of another author’s language, thoughts, ideas,
expressions and the representation of them as one’s own original work. It is
considered academic dishonesty and a breach of journalistic ethics. - Yemen University Journal follows a strict policy in case of plagiarism within its
purview. If the Editorial board member, reviewer, author etc. detects any
element of plagiarism, the authors are advised to provide proper citations. An
article plagiarized more than 20% is summarily rejected and the author is
informed the same. - The submitted manuscript is checked for the plagiarism before starting the
review process. The manuscript is sent back to the author if the plagiarism
extent exceeded and the authors are advised to revise and resubmit the
manuscript.
