Author Guidelines – Yemen University Journal

Authors interested in submitting manuscripts to Yemen University Journal are required to follow the guidelines below to ensure consistency and quality in all published works.

1. Scope and Topics

The journal accepts original research articles, review papers, case studies, and short communications in the fields of medical and applied sciences.

2. Language

Manuscripts may be submitted in Arabic or English. However, all submissions must include an abstract, keywords, and title in both languages.

3. Manuscript Format

– Use A4 size, 1-inch margins, and Times New Roman font (12 pt).
– Line spacing: 1.5.
– Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
– The manuscript should include: Title, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, References.

4. Abstract and Keywords

The abstract must be between 150–250 words. Provide 3–6 keywords. Both should be presented in English and Arabic.

5. References

References should be listed in APA style. Citations must be accurate and complete. Only works cited in the text should be included in the reference list.

6. Plagiarism and Ethical Compliance

All manuscripts are screened for plagiarism. Submissions must be original and not under review elsewhere. Authors must follow ethical standards in research and publication.

8. Peer Review and Decision

All submissions undergo double-blind peer review. The editorial decision will be communicated within 4–6 weeks from the date of submission.
